Our Bar-Crawl-meets-PGA-Tour-Event will be a great event for you and your friends to dress up in your best (or silliest) golf outfits, play putt-putt style golf holes at 6 different bar/restaurant locations around Sloan's Lake. The event will be Saturday, June 6, 2026. You can check in at the event registration booth starting at 11:30am, where you can pick up your gift bag. Registration will stay open until 4pm, so start your round when you would like. The golf starts at 12:00pm and ends at 5pm with the 19th Hole Party starting at 5:00pm.

Where?

Our course gives you a tour of bars and restaurants around Sloan's Lake, fabled for their quality beverages and tasty treats. With a Shotgun style start, you can begin at any of the participating locations, but be sure to attend the 19th hole party for the raffle prizes, giveaways, best golf outfit award and much more!

Can I bring my friends?

We suggest yes, we are not sure we like you enough to talk to you the whole time. Also, this is for charity and the money raised goes directly to improving Sloan's Lake. Its a good cause, rally the troops!

If I sign up, what do I get for participating?

Mostly the best day of your life and the sound, restful sleep of someone who has helped a great non-profit meet its mission. But if that is not enough, you will also receive our Official Scorecard, a Sloan's Lake Wide Open commemorative golf ball for use in your round, access to our online guide for playing the round, and as many high fives as your shoulders can handle!

*Drinks and food are not included in your registration, but each bar will have specials for the event!

Do I have to bring my own clubs?

If you are that person, bring your own clubs for sure. We don't want to hear about how the center of gravity of our putters made you miss any shots. But if you would prefer, leave the clubs at home and use our onsite putters that we will have at each location. If you need something more than a putter to complete the round, maybe think about 'clubbing down' for the day.

What should we wear?

Pants...please. At least pants. We don't want anyone losing their liquor license due to your antics. But also wear your best, silliest, most fun, throwback golf outfit you can muster. Guys, find some knickerbockers and argyle socks and your best sweater vest. Girls, find a sporting dress from the 1920s or your best golf skirt/pants/shorts and a hat that would make people say 'is she fun or weird?' Things like golf shirts, shorts, knee-high socks, athletic skirts, visors and pretty much anything plaid, argyle or bright will work. You can also add some fun accessories like inflatable golf clubs, sunglasses, wigs, golf shoes and more. Whatever you wear, know there is a contest for best dressed and the prizes are awesome.

Do we have to drink at each hole?

You certainly don't have to drink at every hole or location, but these wonderful places have opened their doors to help a good cause...so at least lay down some cash on the bar for a soda or Shirley Temple to thank them for their effort. Each place will have a drink specially made for the day and some food specials for hungry golfers who need the fuel to compete.

Do we check in or something to start the round?

Yes, we want you to check in because we want to see your sweet outfits and take sweet pics! Also, you need your bracelet, some gifts of awesome stuff, commemorative ball and scorecard to play the round. Check in will be at one of our participating bars, to be announced soon.

How does this whole thing work?

Think of golf, then make it 100 times more awesome, and you have our event. This will be the best and most fun round of golf you have ever played. You check in at our tent to get your sweet stuff, then its a shotgun style start. Pick any of the locations to start your round, and make sure you get to at least 7 locations to 'complete' the round. We will have volunteers at each location to help you through the hole and stamp your card to prove you were there. Also to make sure you don't break anything. Once you are done, we will gather back at one of our bars for the '19th Hole' after party (its a golf thing, we didn't pick the name), where we will award prizes, giveaway raffle items, toast to our domination over the golf course and generally have some fun.

-Missing a hole
-Falling down
-Burping or Farting
-Cheating
-Public PDA
-Spilling a drink
-Spilling a drink on yourself
-Spilling a drink on someone else
-Dropping a full drink

You can purchase mulligans and removal of penalty strokes through donations to Sloan's Lake Park Foundation...remember this is all for a good cause!
